Earlier this year we traveled to Washington DC.  Having not been there for an eternity, it was a pleasant discovery to find the city is beautiful.  The folks we met were very friendly and the subway was actually fun to ride!  We made it to the memorials as well as Arlington National Cemetary, the Capitol Building, and the White House.  We also walked the Mall and had the opportunity to grab some nice images.
